Fernando Nishio
Fernando Nishio Lucar is a graduate in Biology in the area of environmental microbiology, graduated from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Fernando received training in monitoring and analyzing water quality at the Institute for Hygiene and Environment (Japan) and other agencies of the Japanese government. In addition, he has 10 years of experience working on conservation projects, environmental education, development and fieldwork with wildlife. Fernando has been a field assistant with the Punta San Juan Program for health assessment and biometric evaluations of Humboldt penguins, sea birds and pinnipeds. He also collaborates on the design and use of equipment for monitoring wildlife at the reserve.
