Brayhan Eliseo Cáceres Jordán
Field Assistant
Brayhan Eliseo Cáceres Jordán is an Environmental Engineer from National Technological University in South of Lima-Peru and an amateur wildlife photographer. Brayhan is interested in the conservation of coastal marine birds, their interaction with other wild species and their environment.
He joined the Punta San Juan Program in September 2022 as an intern. During that time he focused his research proposal on the interaction of red-headed turkey vultures (Cathartes aura) and plastics within Punta San Juan. Brayahn is currently working on a short scientific note on the first report of reproductive success in kelp gulls (Larus dominicanus) within PSJ. Since the beginning of year 2023, he filled the position of Field Assistant and is in charge of routine monitoring of coastal marine fauna, training of interns and volunteers regarding data collection, supports all operational logistics and any required coordination with SERNANP, AGRORURAL staff and/or other institutions.
